This variation  is renowned for its black gloss dial signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Sea-Dweller, 4000ft=1220m, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" with "Swiss" located at 6 o'clock. 

This designation indicates the presence of a 'Luminova' dial, which was exclusively produced during 1998 and 1999 before transitioning to SuperLuminova with a different "Swiss Made" marking.
