The Ref. 6217-7000 was Seiko's -and Japan's- first iteration of a World Timer and was designed for international travelers who needed a reliable timepiece that could keep track of multiple time zones. The watch with a grey sunburst dial bordered by a split bi-color 24-hour track and a matte black rotating "cities of the world" bezel with blue trim allowing the wearer to easily track the time in different parts of the world
