Notably, it is the last Submariner Date to sport the classic 39mm Oyster case. This U6-serial example from late 1998 showcases a rare transitional 'Tritinova' Luminova dial. These unique dials were produced for less than a year, blending Luminova with previously marked "SWISS - T < 25" dials meant for Tritium. This particular watch is part of a limited batch featuring the "T25" stamp but with Luminova markers, hands, and bezel pip. It's a remarkable piece from a brief period during Rolex’s transition from Tritium to Luminova.
