In 2003, Rolex introduced the Rolex Submariner Ref. 16610LV, commonly known as the ‘Kermit,’ to commemorate the Submariner's 50th anniversary.
Production of this 7 year model ceased in 2010, which has made it highly sought-after, particularly the earlier & later engraved rehaut versions.
The standout feature of this example is its flawless vibrant green bezel insert & engraved rehaut on its chapter ring. Additionally, the ‘maxi’ dial, with its larger hour markers compared to previous Submariners is a notable characteristic of the ‘Kermit’ Submariner.
This particular example is in excellent original condition. The dial is immaculate, the bezel insert is in superb condition with a vibrant green hue, and the case remains unpolished with thick lugs and sharp chamfers. Complete with its original warranty card & accessories, this is a must own set for all Submariner enthusiasts!
