In 2003, Rolex launched the Submariner Ref. 16610LV, affectionately known as the 'Kermit,' to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this legendary dive watch. With production spanning from 2003 to 2010, the Kermit has become a highly coveted piece, especially the early “Flat 4” bezel and late production engraved rehaut versions.
A standout feature of the Kermit is its ‘maxi’ dial, which showcases larger hour markers compared to its predecessors, enhancing legibility and adding a contemporary flair. This model's striking green bezel insert is another hallmark, perfectly complementing the classic black dial and further solidifying its status as a modern classic.
This particular late-production 2008 example is in excellent original condition. The dial & green bezel insert remains immaculate, with minimal signs of wear. The bezel insert shines with a vibrant green hue, retaining its color and clarity. Most importantly, this is an unpolished example, featuring thick lugs and sharp chamfers on the case & crisp hallmarks on bracelet that attest to its original integrity and preservation.
Included with this set is it’s Undated Rolex warranty card, along with all original accessories & box. This complete package makes it a must-have for any serious Submariner collector!
